Guide to the Grand Finals​

 

The qualifying teams of 2 golfers from each Qualifying Round of the Global Golf Challenge 2014 will be invited, free of any charges* to compete in the Global Golf Challenge GRAND Final held in Vietnam over36 holes

 

Format of Event

Better Ball 2 Man Team event over two rounds of 18 holes over the Kings' Island Golf and Resort and DoSon Seaside Golf Resort and will be played under the Rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the local rules of the two venues. Competition Entry ConditionsGolfers must hold a valid handicap at the time of the qualifying rounds and the Grand Final.

 

Handicap System

The Global Golf Challenge Tournament Committee will operate a modified System 36 handicap to find the Winning Team.

 

Ties

Any ties for ALL places will be decided on a count back procedure – that being the Team with the Best Back 9, followed by the best Back 6, followed by the best Back 3 and followed by the best Last Hole will win any such card playoff DESPITE the tee which the team had started from. The Global Golf Challenge Tournament Committee will provide return travel, accommodation, transfers within Vietnam to the golf and event venues plus the cost of golf – which includes two practice rounds and two completion rounds.

 

The Global Golf Challenge Tournament Committee will provide Food and Beverage as a buffet prior to each of the Tournament Rounds plus the Grand Final Prize Giving.

 

Please note the Global Golf Challenge Tournament Committee will not provide for the cost of the compulsory caddie fee and traditional caddie tips, additional Food and Beverage or any other items.
